Information for Parents
We welcome your
interest in the Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK)
program in Pinellas County.
The Early Learning
Coalition of Pinellas, Inc. and Coordinated Child Care of Pinellas, Inc.
(CCC) will be administering the VPK program locally for the State of Florida.

Parents/Guardians may enroll their child/ren
in the Voluntary Prekindergarten Program (VPK) by following the three
easy steps listed below. Children will not be officially enrolled
until all steps are completed and submitted
when you visit one of our main CCC offices or at any of the intake sites
as listed below.
- Complete the
VPK Child Application (Form AWI-VPK 01)
- Submit the Application in Person.
CCC staff will be available to complete the application process Monday
through Friday 8:00a.m to 5:00 p.m. at our Pinellas Park, Clearwater, or
St .Petersburg locations.
Please bring the following items with you when you visit our main
CCC offices.

Your completed application (or this can be completed at the time
of your visit)

Proof of your current Florida Address
Example: recent water bill with parent name and
physical address or Florida Driver’s License with current address
- Proof of your child's date of birth
Children must be 4-years old on or before September
1st
Eligibility Verification
List
When the application process is complete, the parent will receive:
- A list of certified VPK
providers
- A Certificate of Eligibility
for the parent to present to the VPK provider of their choice
- Register with a VPK provider
- Select a certified VPK provider
Use the Pinellas County zip code
map to indicate the area(s) you wish to search for a VPK Program.
You may choose to receive the entire list of Pinellas County certified
VPK programs if you would prefer.
- Submit the Certificate of Eligibility to the
VPK provider
