POSITION TITLE: Family Services Specialist Family Services Department
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Performs eligibility duties for school readiness child care scholarships, VPK intake/redetermination process as well as CCR&R services. Updates and maintains applicable databases. Provides explanation/education to customers on applicable programs available as well as appropriate social service information/ referrals within the county. Conduct community education and outreach on school readiness, CCR&R and VPK services. Provide mentorship and orientation for new employees on school readiness, CCR&R and VPK programs. Works with report writing software for notices and reports.
Hire Range: $12.66/hr. - $15.82/hr.
REQUIREMENTS:
A.A degree or two (2) years of college in field related to specific job function. B.S. degree within early childhood education, human services or specific subject area related field preferred. Two to five years experience in human/social services and customer relations and the ability to demonstrate current proficiency in these areas. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
POSITION TITLE: Family Resource Associate/CCR&R Family Services
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Provide consultation and assistance regarding Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) program operations, implementation of the Standard Levels of Services and contractual requirement. Coordinate education, training and orientation on current and revised CCR&R Standard Levels of Services, program policy and procedures for department staff as needed. Maintain statistical tracking of CCR&R systems, performance outcomes, staff training/certification and child care needs assessment. Compile and verify reports as requested/required by Agency and/or funders. Update and maintain reports, records, notices and educational materials. Reviews records and database input for quality control; monitors phone activities/availability. Assist/educate customers regarding child care. Provide education/explanation regarding rules/regulations of CCR&R, School Readiness and VPK services. Apply professional customer relations and problem solving when appropriate. May conduct community education on CCR&R, School Readiness and VPK services.
Hire Range: $13.12/hr. - $16.40/hr.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma plus five (5) years or more of direct related experience in specific subject and job function. Associates degree or Two (2) years of college in field related to specific job functions preferred. Five (5) or more years experience in human/social services and customer relations and the ability to demonstrate current proficiency in these areas.
POSITION TITLE: Program Supervisor-Provider Support Provider Services
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Oversee and direct day to day management of assigned programs, provider sub-contracts, non-contracted licensed/legal exempt and informal provider agreements as required by funders: This includes but is not limited to monitoring compliance, corrective actions, annual renewal, processing of changes, termination of agreements, tracking and maintenance of applicable information in designated databases/files, oversight of program budgets where applicable and recruitment of providers.
HIRE RANGE: $17.99/hr – $22.49/hr
REQUIREMENTS:
A.A. degree or two years of college training within specific subject matter related to functions. B.A./B.S. in Early Childhood Education or related field strongly preferred; four-seven years related experience with at least two years in a supervisory position; MS Office proficiency. Ability to work multiple locations in Pinellas County. Knowledge of Pinellas County social services and child care community preferred.
POSITION TITLE: Information Technology Administrator
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Working under the supervision of the Director of Information Technology - Highly trained and experienced technical individual will be responsible for advanced administration and planning, documenting, monitoring, troubleshooting 200 node WAN; AD, Group Policy, anti-virus suite, MS Exchange 2003, CISCO routers and PIX Firewall. Individual will also perform backup help desk functions and other user software and hardware support.
HIRING RANGE: $24.49/hr - $30.61/hr
REQUIREMENTS:
MCSE, Associates degree or two years of college coursework/technical training within specific subject related to job functions and 3 – 5 years solid network administration experience in a mid sized business environment. Associates degree may be waived for candidates with MCSE and CCNA certifications and 3 – 5 years solid experience. Experience with SQL Server, scripting, VB, Trend Micro Neatsuite, Backup Exec, Disk Imaging, automatic deployment of updates, NAS/SANS a plus.Position will require excellent communication and organizational skills. Must be a team player with a strong focus on customer service. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
POSITION TITLE: Provider Consultant Provider Services
GENERAL INFORMATION:
This position will assist with maintaining/improving quality of programs in child care facilities by assessing/training/technical assistance.
HIRING RANGE: $13.94 - $17.42/hr.
REQUIREMENTS:
B.S. degree in early childhood education, elementary education, child development or related field. One-three years experience working with children and families required. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to work Saturdays, nights and flexible hours. Mandatory proficiency in MS Office. Ability to work multiple locations and access to reliable transportation.
